Lucas and Erica Michielsen
Dedicated entrepreneurs and parents to five children, we strive to establish long-lasting relationships with our clients based on trust, integrity, and mutual respect. What always remains the same are the guiding principles of excellence in service and product.
We bring twenty five years of experience in landscape construction and a passion for life outside to every project.
‘Growing up in a family construction business and graduating from the Fanshawe College Horticulture program in 2002, I turned my focus to the landscape industry. The craft and philosophy of dry stone walling has become the defining feature of many of our projects. Mark
Mark is an essential part of our team as project manager. Growing up on a farm in Dorchester, he has an unparalleled work ethic, extensive knowledge of both large and small equipment and knows how to get things done. With over fifteen years of industry experience in leadership roles, Mark works closely with clients to bring their landscape projects to life. We are proud to have his attention to detail, strong qualifications and ownership with each installation he leads.
Harrison
Harrison is an integral part of the long term relationships that we build with our clients. Whether it is seasonal maintenance, or phase one, two, three, four or five of their outdoor dreams, Harrison is a familiar face. A graduate of the Fanshawe Horticulture Technician program, Harry brings with him over a decade of small business experience with a focus on maintenance, landscape enhancements and on site management. We are proud to have his work ethic, project ownership and strong qualifications in both softscape and hardscape.
Tim
Tim brings decades of expertise in small business operations, spanning landscaping, maintenance, and retail. His seasoned background includes project and product management, adept equipment operations and a commitment to nurturing the natural world.
As a dedicated part time instructor at Fanshawe College, Tim imparts his wealth of knowledge not only to our clients but also to aspiring horticulturists in the Horticulture program. His passion for the landscape industry extends beyond the classroom, as he dedicates himself to the planning, management and execution of our property enhancements.
Tyler
We are very grateful to be involved with our local high school co-op initiatives. Tyler chose to join Millworks for the practical component of the program, gaining invaluable hands on experience through the work we do. Tyler has developed his construction skills so much that he has joined us as a full time employee. Tyler’s level of commitment, reliability and work ethic have made him a key member of our amazing team.
